Selected Clients

Tucker Development Plus has worked with a diversity of clients with needs ranging from strategic planning to establishing national brands to developing productive organizational relationships in the healthcare, architecture, and commercial real estate marketplaces.

Selected Engagements Have Included:

For a national commercial real estate firm, TD+ consultants worked with the leadership to establish a national brand and develop corporate relationships with such organizations as Verizon, AT&T, the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, and the School District of Philadelphia. The engagement entailed (1) the development of consensus among the firm’s senior leadership, (2) a strategic market assessment, (3) targeted marketing, and (4) implementation. As an additional benefit of this engagement, TD+ coordinated an effort to establish a new valuation company for commercial real estate services.

TD+ consultants were engaged to expand and brand the first national minority and women-owned business group formed to serve the commercial real estate industry. This relationship created a vital solution in the formation of a corporation wholly owned by nine independent minority and women-owned real estate firms across the United States. This relationship, being the first of its kind in the commercial real estate industry, marked a new paradigm for the services sector as a whole to ensure that minority and women-owned real estate firms participated in a range of real estate services. This coordination by TD+ consultants marked a milestone in the history of the services sector for corporate real estate and created an innovative approach to minority business development.

For a proposed new development project, TD+ consultants served as the developer and worked closely with the communities and constituents who would be most critical to its success, as well as impacted by its success. This included meeting with key vendors, key community groups, municipal leadership, and key stakeholders, ranging from potential hotel owners/operators, health care professionals, health care institutions, neighbors, potential healthcare consumers, academic centers, elected officials, job training organizations, and potential sources of funding via grants, investments, financing, and diverse revenue opportunities. The development proposal is currently under review.

For a regional architectural firm, TD+ consultants worked with its senior architectural/design team in a strategic planning engagement. Specific elements of the engagement included assessing the marketplace for small firms, assessing the marketplace for architects within their areas of specialization, performing a SWOT analysis, and conducting a one-day retreat to resolve whether the firm wanted to grow, and, if so, toward what end, in what direction, how, and by whom. The engagement included a detailed executive memorandum of the team’s conclusions and next steps. TD+ continues to work with the firm to assist with the implementation of the strategies.

For a national office supply/furnishings firm, TD+ consultants were able to assess the product line, develop target markets, confirm unique selling propositions, and secure leading corporate accounts, including a national cable communications firm. In fact, the team’s involvement with this firm was instrumental in landing a national agreement that resulted in several new distribution facilities for the client. Eventually, the relationship expanded into other divisions of the cable communications company nationally.
